Beryllium Alloy Strip (beryllium alloy) refers to beryllium-based alloys and alloys containing beryllium. There are mainly beryllium copper alloys, beryllium aluminum alloys, beryllium nickel alloys and beryllium titanium composite materials. Among them, beryllium copper alloy is the most widely used. It contains beryllium 0.2% to 2.8%. It has high strength, high conductivity, high toughness, high fatigue limit, high wear resistance, seawater corrosion resistance, non-magnetic, thermal shock resistance, and impact resistance. The advantages of Beryllium Copper Stamping no sparks, etc., are widely used in electrical equipment, electronic devices and control instruments.
Beryllium copper, also known as beryllium bronze, is the "king of elasticity" in copper alloys. After solution aging heat treatment, Beryllium Copper Stamping with high strength and high conductivity can be obtained. High-strength cast beryllium bronze alloy, after heat treatment, not only has high strength, high hardness, but also has the advantages of wear and corrosion resistance, excellent casting performance, Beryllium Copper Stamped is suitable for manufacturing various molds, explosion-proof safety tools, and wear-resistant Parts such as cams, gears, worm gears, bearings, etc.
In-die riveting---Technology of in-die riveting of silver contacts in stamping dies
In the world of progressive in die silver contact riveting, technological improvements one after another have brought about improvements in quality, efficiency, time and other aspects. In layman's terms: I can make things better, faster, and at a higher cost. If it is lower, it will bring about the improvement and optimization of the overall efficiency of the industrial chain.
In the relay industry (take the dynamic spring assembly in the T73 model as an example), when there is no in-mold riveting silver contact process:
First, the stamping plant will send the two parts of the Relay moving spring and the Relay armature to the customer through the production;
Second, the customer riveted 1, the armature to the moving reed in his own workshop; 2, riveted the silver contact to the (already riveted armature and moving reed). In this whole process, a total of the following dies are required: a armature stamping die, b relay moving reed die, c armature riveting moving reed die, d silver contact riveting die. In terms of production efficiency, the process of riveting the Silver Electrical Contact (on the already riveted armature and moving reed) alone, a more skilled worker can only produce 10,000 pieces a day, even if this process is replaced by For automated operations, it is still necessary to optimize the process of riveting the armature to the moving reed. The longer the process is stretched, the greater the probability of quality problems between each process. Therefore, in the previous production process of moving reed components, the general daily production capacity was only 10,000 pieces (including overtime, at most 20,000 pieces) ), and when these moving reed components are installed in the T73 finished product, the adjustment-free rate of finished product assembly can only be reached 50%-60%. Let's calculate the assembly cost: at 3,000 yuan per person, 30 days, 10,000 pieces a day, the assembly cost of the last process of a moving reed assembly is 0.01 yuan (this is only the labor cost of the last process, excluding other assembly costs of the process and any quality issues).
Let’s now take a look at the process of in-die riveting of silver contacts (also take the dynamic spring assembly in the T73 model as an example)
1. The stamping plant produces the armature; 2. The stamping plant directly completes the production of the movable reed assembly by using the silver contacts through the in-die riveting process;
Second, customers only need to provide Electrical Contact Rivet to the stamping factory; in this whole process, only two dies are needed: a armature stamping die, b Electrical Silver Contacts riveting die in the movable reed die (that is, the production of the movable reed and the armature, contact All the riveting is done in this die). In terms of production efficiency, the speed of this process can be stably controlled between 200 times to 400 times (per minute). If we calculate 300 times per minute, we can achieve the production of 18,000 moving reed components in one hour, 6 hours a day can reach the output of 100,000 pcs.More importantly, the riveting process of the client is directly cancelled here, which saves manpower and shortens the process to: it can only be completed in the production workshop of the stamping plant. And the relay movable reed assembly produced by the Silver Contact Rivet in-die riveting process, when assembled into the T73 finished product, the adjustment-free rate can reach 80%-85%, which greatly improves the quality and output of the customer's finished product. Through the improvement of this technology, we found that the customer's monthly output has increased from 1.5 million finished products to the current monthly output of 5.1 million finished products, which is a full increase of more than three times!
The competitive advantage brought by technological improvement is obvious. In addition to the rising labor costs in the manufacturing industry, more and more relay assembly manufacturers have begun to invest or update automated production lines, and higher requirements are placed on supporting stamping parts suppliers. Electrical Contact Point In-die riveting technology has played an active role in this key component.
