Magnetic Latching Relay Silver Contact with Steps Cap

1-Layer Material:AgSnO2,AgSnO2ln2O3,etc

2-Base Material:Copper

3-Application: Magnetic Latching Relay

Magnetic latching relay is a new type of relay developed in recent years, and it is also an automatic switch. Like other electromagnetic relays, it automatically turns on and off the circuit. The difference is that the normally closed or normally open state of the magnetic latching relay is completely dependent on the action of permanent magnets, and the switching state of the magnetic latching relay is triggered by a pulse electric signal of a certain width.

According to relevant information, the maximum Electrical Contacts switching current of magnetic latching relays on the market can reach 150A; the control coil voltage is divided into DC9V, DC12V, etc. The life of general electrical appliances is 10,000 times; the mechanical life is 1,000,000 times; the Electrical Silver Contacts voltage drop is less than 100mV. Therefore, it has the characteristics of power saving, stable performance, small size, large carrying capacity, and superior performance than general electromagnetic relays.

For magnetic latching relays, the Electrical Contact Rivet system is the actuator of the relay, which is used to break and connect the circuit; the reliability and life of the relay depend to a large extent on the working quality of the Electronic Contacts system. The Silver Point Contact is damaged more or less during the contact process. Some of this damage is large, and one time is enough to cause the Bimetal Silver Contact to fail, and some slowly accumulate and eventually cause the contact to fail. Because the Electrical Silver Contact is related to whether the relay is good or not. On-off, service life, stability, etc., so the selection of Silver Contact Rivet in the design and use is very important. This article points out that magnetic latching relays have significant characteristics with other relays when in use.

Magnetic Latching Relay Principle of action

The open and closed state of the magnetic latching relay is usually held by the magnetic force generated by the permanent magnet. When the Bimetal Silver Contact of the relay need to be opened or closed, only the positive (reverse) DC pulse voltage is needed to excite the coil, and the relay completes the state transition between opening and closing in an instant. Usually when the Electrical Contact Point is in the holding state, the coil does not need to continue to be energized, and the state of the relay can be maintained unchanged only by the magnetic force of the permanent magnet.

Magnetic Latching Relay Action process

When the contacts of the relay need to be set, it is only necessary to excite the coil J2 with a positive DC pulse voltage. The magnetic poles generated by the coil J2 after excitation interact with the magnetic poles of the permanent magnet. The state transition from reset to set is completed in an instant. The process of the magnetic latching relay changing from the set state to the reset state is the same.
